Judy Bellamy
Judy has been apart of Heroes in Force since 2015 and is so proud of the growth and achievements she’s seen in the past five years. Judy’s favorite thing about being a HiF team member is how she’s able to use her own life experiences to help other kids, especially in regards to bullying.
Like many kids today, Judy experienced the hurtful words and actions from bullies while growing up. Unfortunately, you can have a run-in with a bully anywhere - at school, in your neighborhood, or even at home. Judy’s experience with bullies was mainly at school and because of this she found it difficult to make friends. As a kid, Judy didn’t know how to handle the harassment she faced from bullies, including being called hateful names. She didn’t have someone to help her handle the bullying issue, which is why she is so proud now to teach an anti-bullying message to kids everywhere! Being apart of Heroes in Force allows her to help kids not only be confident in themselves and stand up to the bullies, but also teach kids how hurtful bullying can be. Her goal is to prepare children to face anything the world throws at them - especially mean bullies! Judy has lived in northeast Georgia for the majority of her life. She works in child education in the local school system. Judy enjoys spending time with her family and her husband Brent. In her free time she enjoys taking martial arts classes! |
